Scheduler Features
The program will run on either Windows or Mac computers. There are 3 available user-interface languages: English, Romanian and Russian The program can create schedules if the user provides information such as:
The program can check a manually generated class schedule for conflicts. A schedule can be manually entered, or generated by the program. It may also be partially entered manually and then completed by the program. The schedule can be edited even after it has been generated by the program. All entries are checked before they are accepted. You can’t create schedule conflicts. The program will display the schedule by class or by teacher. The program can keep several versions of a schedule. This will allow the school to keep old versions while creating new ones, or even look at alternatives before deciding on which one to use. One can export information from the program to files that can then be imported into a spreadsheet (like Excel). This allows the schedules to be easily printed according to how the school likes it. Information pertaining to a schedule is stored in a database. A database can contain one or more schedules. A database can be copied to a new database. The general idea is, but not mandated, one database per school year; the same database can be copied to a newly created database to be edited for the following school year’s schedules. The program can keep many databases. An editable “sample schedule” is included in the program package.
